Low Associates is a Brussels-based consultancy committed to delivering high-quality advisory services. We are a small, professional team and we are looking for a motivated trainee to support our finance and administration function.
The Role
This is a part-time, hybrid position (minimum 2 days per week in our Brussels office) ideally suited to a student in the final years of a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. The role is designed to be carried out as part of your studies (stage/internship agreement required).
We would also consider recent graduates, in which case a compensation arrangement will be discussed.
What You Will Do
The following is a non-exhaustive list of tasks. Responsibilities will start with more straightforward administrative duties and gradually evolve towards more complex finance and control activities:
Handling and sorting incoming financial correspondence and documents
Processing and tracking incoming purchase invoices
Following up on missing or overdue invoices with suppliers
Processing employee expense reimbursement requests
Maintaining and updating cash flow and payment tracking lists
Supporting project financial reporting and related administrative tasks
Coordinating travel and meeting arrangements, including cost tracking and reconciliation Providing administrative support on European Commission tender preparations Supporting month-end closing activities
Providing administrative support during audit processes, when required
Raising sales invoices
Supporting bookkeeping tasks
Supporting the finance and wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks
What We Are Looking For
Currently enrolled in the final years of a university programme (or a recent graduate) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
A solid understanding of finance concepts and genuine interest in the field
Organised, detail-oriented, reliable — and someone who brings good energy to the team Comfortable working independently and managing recurring administrative tasks Fluent in English (required); French and/or Dutch is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); all other tools will be trained on the job
