Digital Transformation Accelerator II

THE CHALLENGE

Europe is facing a critical gap in the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies. While global competitors are rapidly integrating AI into business and public services, many European organisations—particularly SMEs and public administrations—struggle with limited resources, lack of expertise, and a fragmented innovation landscape.

At the same time, navigating the complexity of the EU AI ecosystem and complying with emerging regulations such as the AI Act adds further barriers. This results in missed opportunities, slower innovation, and reduced competitiveness across the continent.

THE SOLUTION

THE CHALLENGE

  • Communication strategy

  • Support to EDIH Network Summit

  • Community-building activities

  • Content for website and social media

  • AI-focused communication initiatives (e.g. EDIH TV)

  • Ongoing reporting and progress updates

The Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA) Phase II is designed to address these challenges by strengthening the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network and positioning it as a one-stop shop for AI and digital transformation support.

Through a combination of strategic coordination, capacity building, and targeted communication, the project helps organisations access the right expertise, tools, and infrastructure to adopt AI effectively. It connects stakeholders across Europe, simplifies access to the broader innovation ecosystem, and provides practical guidance to turn ambition into real-world implementation.
