THE CHALLENGE
The Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) is an international not-for-profit NGO that carries out research on online disinformation and hate speech, and provides recommendations to key stakeholders in the digital space (social media platforms, digital policymakers etc.) LOW was appointed by the CCDH in 2021 to increase its profile amongst EU institutions.

THE SOLUTION
LOW organised ‘Using the DSA to Counter Disinformation’, an online event to discuss the role of regulation in fighting disinformation, and raise awareness of the serious problem of vaccine-related online disinformation. LOW is also advising CCDH in its engagement with the European Commission’s Digital Services Act, which aims to increase transparency and safety for users of large digital platforms.
