Arno joined the LOW Associates team in Brussels in October 2021. He supports LOW's communication projects, and researches policy developments. 

Prior to starting at LOW, Arno was a trainee at Alliance4Europe.

As a Board Member of several NGOs in the pro-European sphere, Arno has experience in campaigning, both at the grassroots level and through social media, advocacy, and PR. 

Arno obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Ghent University before moving on to a Masters in EU studies at the same university. Aside from his native Dutch, Arno is fluent in English and conversational in French.  Arno is a former Belgian Chess Vice-Champion and the current President of the Flemish Chess Federation.
