LOW wins more contracts from the Commission: says ‘Move to Brussels a big success’

LOWeurope has solidified its position as a key player in the Brussels strategic communications sector by winning three high-profile EC contracts dealing with entrepreneurship and the environment.

From January 2018 LOW will (in conjunction with its partner GOPA Com.) be handling the contract to manage the 2018 SME Assembly in Graz; the 2018 edition of the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA); and the 2018 European SME Week.

After running a successful first cycle, LOW also has secured the contract to handle the secretariat, communications and organisation of the next edition of the European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE).

An initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment, EBAE celebrates eco-innovation pioneers, as well as companies with eco-friendly practices at the core of their business.

LOW was also part of the successful consortium (comprising EUROCHAMBRES, GOPA Com. and Vision*R),  for the next cycle of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE).

An EU cross-border exchange programme, EYE gives aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from established enterprises in the participating countries. LOW will be responsible for conceiving, organising and delivering EYE’s 10th Anniversary celebrations, which shall take place in early 2019.

EEPA, EBAE and EYE now join the ranks of other business and entrepreneurship-related, EC-funded projects that LOW manages, such as the DG GROW ‘Business Beyond Borders’ matchmaking initiative (which LOW won in 2017).

LOW Managing Director Sally Low said:
“The decision to move our headquarters to Brussels has been thoroughly vindicated. We are winning business like EEPA; EBAE; and EYE on a regular basis; and are very proud of the trust the European Commission has placed in our team.”
