Policy and Communications Assistant
Leila joined LOW in 2018, to work on communications, policy, and research tasks. Leila’s main expertise is in writing, editing, and curating content. Her key projects are the SME Assembly, The European Enterprise Promotion Awards, Mozilla, and in-house communications.
Prior to joining LOW, Leila worked as a staff writer for the McGill International Review before becoming an editor. Simultaneously, she served as a Committee Director and Vice-Chair in collegiate Model United Nations conferences, wrote content for the Montreal publishing company Valnet Inc, and assisted Plan International in fundraising and University awareness campaigns. Leila holds a double major degree in English and Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Leila is a native English and French speaker, as well as fluent in Spanish.
